CNW 53 This is a Kato RS2 with minor modifications.  It was custom painted, decaled and weathered.
CNW 405

This is a heavily kit-bashed Atlas RS11.  The nose was chopped, and most of the long hood was scratch built from styrene.  The bolsters were moved on the chassis to make the truck centers prototypically correct.  The handrails were scratchbuilt from brass wire, including the stanchions.  To see a PDF of a complete construction article for the 405, click here.

CNW 6616

The model started as a Proto-2000 SD7.  The nose was chopped, one fuel tank was removed and a Kato motor with flywheels was installed.
